 I know the title must have you a lil baffled but no i'm not talking about fast women. lol What i am mentioning or should I say who i'm referring to is an English born trap producer named HUCCI. Just like a contract killer his wrath is felt by those he encounters but you cannot find much info about the dj. One thing is for sure his Internet following is immense and he seems to like being the unknown. Hucci uses tons of hip hop samples and vocals to create his airy trap sound. HUCCI varies his tempos so you don't get exhausted from fast paced sounds of a lot of trap producers. the track i'm lovin right now is called “Hitta” which uses r&b and hip hop vocals to lace an 808 heavy track. HUCCI is not afraid to mix up samples mid-song and gracefully navigates from sample to sample. HUCCI’S following patiently wait for internet  drops because there’s not much else to go on. It's easy to see that he has an immense, hip hop love. It flows over most of his tracks.The track entitled ‘PERFECT STORM” is a dope cut that uses a Micheal Jackson vocal to lead the song and I honestly had never before paid that much attention to Mj’s lyrics but the track forced them onto me which was cool to say the least. Dance Styles Over The Years

Dance styles really have changed over the years and the music as well. Dancers have added their own flavor to it to make it more up to date. I remember back in the day at school talent shows or at party’s you had dance groups Popping and Locking to the sounds the Gap Band and Parliament Funkadelic. Popping started in Los Angeles California in 1960s- 1970s, it is one of the original funk styles of street dance. If you don’t know what Popping is, “it’s based on the technique of quickly contrasting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer’s body, referred to as a pop or hit, this done continuously to the rhythm of a song in combination with various movements and poses.” Then there was Hip-hop dance, which was a combination of popping, locking and break dancing. Hip-hop dancing is freestyle dance with a lot of improvising; dancers would battle each other to see who had the better moves. Hip-Hop dancing is more than 30 years old. The professional dance crews like Rock Steady Crew, The Lockers, and the Electric Boogaloos were instrumental in the evolution of hip-hop music. Youngsters today are doing these dances called the Jerkin and Hyphy. The Jerkin is a dance that is truly for the young, it gained popularity since 2009. Jerkin started on the streets Los Angeles California and has become popular on the East Coast , “the dance itself consist of moving your legs in and out called the “jerk”, and doing other moves such as the “reject”, “dip” and “pin drop”.  As this dance continued to grow, two rap groups wrote songs for this dance the New Boyz wrote “You’re a Jerk” and Audio Push wrote “Teach Me How to Jerk”. The hyphy dance is another dance that the youngsters do; it originated in the Bay Area California. It is a dance where their dancing out of control and again doing some amazing moves with there bodies, all this dancing is done to hip hop music. Wow! You have to be in good shape to do what these youngsters are doing. I am wondering what the new dance  youngsters will be a year from now.

Last month, Gangstagrass members Rench and T.O.N.E-z attended the Creative Arts Emmys for their nomination in the Best Original Song for a Television Show Category. The song, “Long Hard Times to Come” was written as the theme for the show Justified on FX. The song captured the public’s attention immediately, with fans from across the world trying to find the track and its creators. While the theme for Showtime’s Nurse Jackie took home the win, this marked a historic moment for both the Emmys and the Hip Hop/Rap music genre with T.O.N.E-z getting the nod as the first rapper ever nominated in this category. Now, T.O.N.E-z is set to launch his solo career in a way he has never done before. T.O.N.E-z While gaining mainstream attention as the co-writer of the Emmy Award nominated song, T.O.N.E-z, formerly “Style,” was an established musician before his work with Gangstagrass. In the early 90's, he was signed with Select Records, which produced such artists as Chubb Rock, and his first release was entitled “In Tone We Trust.” T.O.N.E-z went on to sell thousands of mixtapes, and starred alongside Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks in “Philadelphia.” His brothers are Special K, formerly of the Treacherous Three, and T La Rock. Now he can add the Emmy nomination to his impressive list of accomplishments. With an EP on the way next month and a full CD to follow within the next few months, T.O.N.E-z is set to expand his career from the underground and into the limelight. This move inspired the titles of his releases, the first one being “The Lime Light: The Warm Up EP” and the second being “The Lime Light”. While both discs have will hit the masses via International distribution, T.O.N.E-z stays true to his roots with songs that convey rhythmic power and lyrical depth. Lightning On the Strings, Thunder On the Mic” is the second Gangstagrass album. Available now through most online retailers, it features T.O.N.E-z on the majority of the tracks. Both Hip Hop and Bluegrass fans have taken to this seemingly impossible musical combination. The brother of both Special K formerly of the Treacherous Three and T La Rock both hip-hop legends in their own right. Special K's group (which featured Kool Mo Dee) was signed to Sugar Hill Records and T La Rock had what some consider to be the first Def Jam release, It's Yours. Wyclef Jean Running For President Of Haiti

Wyclef Jean a Haitian-American recording artist, record producer and politician. Is running for President of Haiti he announced it on Tuesday August 3, 2010. Wyclef is running against his uncle former ambassador of the United States, this should make for good family conversation around the dinner table.

I think Wyclef is needed in Haiti, he won’t in my opinion take advantage of the people like the past Presidents of Haiti. He has always been for the people and about the people of Haiti. Like his song says “If I were President I’d get elected on Friday, assassinated on Saturday, buried on Sunday, then go back to work on Monday”. If this is a man who believes in a cause, then I have not seen one in my life time. The election is on November 28, 2010, this will be historic.  I truly hope the Haitian people, elect him President it will be good for Haiti. .

The great LL Cool J

LL Cool J entered the world on our nation's 2nd Super Bowl Sunday, January 14th, 1968.  While legendary Vince Lombardi was in Miami enjoying his final coaching victory with the Green Bay Packers, another pioneer was born in Queens, New York--and would someday soon change the hip-hop music world forever!

James Todd Smith, better known as LL Cool J  popularized romantic ballads such as "I Need Love", "Around the Way Girl", and "Hey Lover"...while paving the hip-hop path through the '80's and '90's with hits like  "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "I'm Bad", "The Boomin System", and "Momma Said Knock You Out".

From 1985 until the present, LL Cool J, which stands for "Ladies Love Cool James", has released 12 hit studio albums and one greatest hits compilation....the majority of which, sold well-over a million copies each.

 He's also acted in several motion pictures and television series'(32 projects total), helped launch sportswear lines 'TROUP' and 'FUBU', as well as his own clothing line called "Todd Smith", writtin four books, founded three record labels, captured nearly 50 music awards(including 2 Grammys), and maintained a solid family life with his wife and four children.

At 42, LL Cool J has accomplished more than most do in ten lifetimes, yet he's also been able to keep things real and normal, in a way most audiences can appreciate--while still being there for his family. Perhaps this makes up for what he didn't have growing up.

LL's parents divorced when he was four, and he was raised by his grandparents.  By the age of nine he'd begun rapping and performing in the church choir, had joined the 'Boy Scouts' and delivered newspapers.

Then, one day his grandfather bought him a mixing table from 'Sears', and LL used it to produce and record demos which he sent out to record companies--including 'Def Jam Recordings'.  They would release LL's first hit, a single called "I Need a Beat", which sold over 100,000 copies! Soon afterwards, LL dropped out of highschool to record his first album.

In 1985, 'Radio' received critical acclaim as LL Cool J was one of the first rappers ever to use conventional song structure to make pop-oriented rap.  Singles "I Can't Live Without My Radio", and "Rock the Bells" helped the album go platinum with 1,500,000 copies sold!

Albums 'Bigger and Deffer', 'Walking with Panther', 'Mamma Said Knock You Out', 'G.O.A.T' and '10' would also reach platinum status over the next 15-years. However, through it all, LL felt the need to broaden another horizon.  His first acting part was a small role in a highschool football movie called 'Wildcats'.

 In 1995 he landed his own T.V. sitcom 'In the House', where he played an ex-L.A.Raiders runningback who's financial troubles force him to rent out his home to a single mom and her two children. From there LL landed starring roles in films like 'Halloween H20', 'Deep Blue Sea', 'Any Given Sunday', the 2002 remake of 'Rollerball', 'Deliver Us From Eva', and 'S.W.A.T'.

LL has also guest starred on the 'Fox' medical drama 'House', '30 Rock', 'Sesame Street', and CBS's 'NCIS:Los Angeles', where he currently plays Special Agent Sam Hanna, an ex-'Navy Seal' fluent in Arabic and a specialist in West Asian culture.

It was only a few months ago that LL wrote a song dedicated to the NCIS series now available on iTunes, and based on his experiences as Agent Sam Hanna. "It's a musical interpretation of what I felt after meeting with NCIS agents, experienced Marines and Navy Seals", LL Cool J said.  "It represents the collective energy in the room.  I was so inspired that I wrote the song right here on the set".

It's safe to say that over the past 25-years, LL Cool J has well-represented the "collective energy" in millions of rooms, providing "inspiration" to a variety of audiences throughout the nation, and the world.
